The Maniitsoq-area

Maniitsoq is located between Nuuk and Sisimiut at the west coast of Greenland. It is the southermost of the two towns in the Qeqqata Municipality and has three settlements – Kangaamiut, Napasoq and Atammik. The little cosy town is sorrounded by high mountains, long steep fjords and a rich wildlife.

During the summer Maniitsoq is a perfect base for sailing, angling and trolling.

Maniitsoq is the center for heliskiing in Greenland. During the last 10 years entusiastic skiers have visited Maniitsoq and enjoyed one of the finest heliskiing areas in the world.
